What is the significance of this event on the Civil Rights Movement?
On a scale of 1 (low) to 10 (high) how great of an impact do you think this event had on the Civil
Rights Movement? (Explain your reasoning in 4-5 sentences)
I think the significance of the 13th admendment is that slaves couldnt be slave anymore. I think the 13 th admendment was a 7 on the impact of the Civil Rights Movement. I think this because after it was passed alot of things started to go wrong. Whites were still putting blacks down but alot of stuff started to change. This was a big deal because people were on there on now. Black people were consider property before this admendment was made. i dont think that there would have ben a civil right movement without this because people wouldnt of stood up for african american.
